Exciting Collaboration on Global Child Rights Issues With The Sunday Guardian!

With the idea of starting a wide-ranging and serious conversation on the issues raised in this website, we have tied-up with The Sunday Guardian, a weekly national newspaper based in New Delhi, India, to jointly publish a selection of essays by academics, lawyers, experts and activists on experiences in modern child rights, in India and abroad. It will be a global exploration of this issue, with contributors from different countries.

Starting this Sunday, 24 September 2017, the Sunday Guardian will carry these essays in a series to be called ‘Global Child Rights, and Wrongs’. We will carry longer versions of these essays on the Monday following publication in the Sunday Guardian.

We hope to engender a systemic understanding among the public of the issues in this field, going beyond the sporadic news reports of scandalous international foster care cases.
